DR Strings Peacock Blue - Extra-Life Blue Coated Bass 45-105 Review

If you think you might like the looks of blue strings on your bass - get these.They look wicked awesome.Very metallic blue finish - in the right light they almost seem to glow!you can't see the color from more than about 30 feet away, but they are still great.The reason I give them 4 stars (I would give 4.5 out of 5 stars if I could):they aren't the best-sounding strings I've ever had.They aren't bad, but they sound a little more muted than I would like.Missing a little bit of the mid-tone growl I like in some of my other strings (Rotosound, some Ernie Ball).They feel great for finger playing though due to the coating.
Try them at least once, maybe they're perfect for you.I'll definitely be keeping them on my bass for a while.
