Fishman B-II Acoustic Instrument Preamp Review

The B-II allows me to turn down the gain and volume on my battery powered bass amp by Pignose, the Hog-30.As a result, I'm now getting at least two more hours out of the amp's twin motorcycle-batteries.My passive Kala U-Bass (a ukulele bass!) sounds great with this device.The only gotcha that I've noted is that it is relatively easy to overdrive my 30-watt amp.It didn't take long to discover the sweet spot, however.The Fishman B-II preamp makes my unplugged Pignose sing longer now. Yipee!
