I was recommended these strings as a warm alternative. All I can say is... I am pleased. They have a NICE ROUND tone. Not overly bright or brittle. The Hi E cuts through without being painful. Very smooth. Nice to play. Easy on the fingers..

I have not experienced the tuning issues the previous reviewer has, but then perhaps that was an issue in 2008 and they have improved their product....
