Fishman Neo-D Passive Soundhole Pickup - Humbucker Review

I bought this sort of last minute because I was sick of using a microphone on my guitar for live performances.I read a lot of rave reviews about the single coil Neo D, but wanted to try the humbucker for a less noisy sound.

I play through a Musicman 212-65 with my electric.I don't yet have any kind of dedicated acoustic amp, so I also played the acoustic through the Musicman.For an electric guitar amp, the pickup sounded quite nice.Hardly any noise at all.Less brilliance than I hoped for, but I entirely blame the amp for that.

All in all, this pickup is totally worth it.I imagine with a nice acoustic amp it will sound nearly as good as the fanciest pickup systems.
